For most of us the head of the house is the one who comes home in the wee hours of the night either drunk or stressed up, sometimes both. He would remove his shoes, sit in his reserved “holy” couch and lay his “clean” feet on the table, just so, to read a magazine or drift into his own world (Blank Box□).
Commands and tirades of abuse would gush from his mouth like a river. Children, on the other hand, would hide behind flower vases while their mothers would be on the receiving end of the father’s merciless wrath. This is a norm to most of our homes which really needs to change for the better. If such prevail, our future nation is doomed.
Change is inevitable only if self-discipline and some sense of responsibility is instilled in us .
Men, man up.
